The Peace Treaty Of Ghent
The War of 1812 ended when Great Britain and America agreed to create a peace treaty. The peace treaty stated to be created in Ghent, which is in Belgium. The treaty stated that all conquered cities and land had to be returned to the country the land originally was owned by. The treaty was signed after the American conquered Lake Champlain.
